    So the Hodge report on the Arts Council of England has arrived and it makes for interesting reading and reflection. It finds that the arts are underfunded and makes a whole raft of recommendations like increasing the terms of multi-annual cycles whilst upholding the enduring need for the arms length principle. Whilst locally we sit firmly at the bottom of the funding pyramid, we are far from alone in our thinking about the future it seems.
